Supported by Winsford Town Council
The Winsford Local History Society was first established in November 1966. The idea was to form a society which would collect, collate and preserve historical information about Winsford and the surrounding areas. The Society, now called Winsford and District Historical Society, aims to continue with this work and happily welcomes everyone who would like to join us.
We meet eight times a year in the meeting room upstairs at Winsford Library starting at 7.30pm usually on the first Monday of the month (unless a bank holiday). At most of our meetings we have a visiting speaker but occasionally we have a round table discussion and a delve into our many and varied archives.
